Garfield!

Okay, Garfield ain’t from Finland but they do publish Garfield postcards in there, how cool is that? :D These are a few Garfields I received from Finnish Postcrossers, and given that I have loved Garfield since school years, these cards are absolutely among my favorites!

From Zeeta. This card came with that bite mark! Who ate my postcard half?? Probably this sleepy Garfield. He says, “I would like moreof the mornings is they started late” :D I think EXACTLY like you do, Garfield!

From Snow. “Congratulations!” and this is for my 23rd birthday!! Snow shares birthday with me, yay!

From Mimma. Garfield is funny enough already he doesn’t even need to be a clown!

The Sandman, King of Dreams

I want to feature these cards here, they’re collectible cards published by DC Comics on the Sandman characters.. I hardly know anything about the comic but these cards are sure great! Don’t you think? I received them from Chat Noir.. so I guess he’s a fan of the Sandman… and oh, Chat Noir is another person who has left Postcrossing *sob sob*

Doghill postman!

Oh!! I was checking my postcards from past years.. specificly 2006 (the year I received MOST of my postcards, actually) and found these awesome postcards of Doghill postman cartoon by Mauri Kunnas. I mean… they’re postman!!! :D I know postmen are the most favorite men to most of us here.. so I can’t help loving these cards! I want to add this as another reason Why Finland Rocks as well.. is it reason #3 now? Or #4?? I am losing count… nevermind, I’ll figure that later when I get more of these doggie postmen in my mailbox! Yeah! I have been meaning to get the rest of postcards of the set since long, if they exist, so if you can find them for me, I’ll be very very thankful!! :D

From Annimanni. This is the “Doghill postman in summer wear 1988″. This postcard says so… therefore I’m wondering if it means, postman in 1988 used to wear like this during summer? And bicycle? :) Most probably..

From Kuaka. “The doghill postman in winter wear 1988 and an electric car“. Okay so in summer they deliver mails on a bicycle and in winter they drive an (electric) car! That’s doghill postman! :)
