I can’t wait to spend some time going crazy scanning and uploading postcards again :D *Happy sigh*

I guess it’s the time for me to say goodbye. I will not be able to update this postcard blog anymore. I started this blog only January this year. It feels like so recent, and at the same time it feels so long already, seeing that I have been receiving many lovely visits from you dear Postcrossers and wonderful friends, I can’t be more thankful for your time to visit me here! All this postcard blogging idea came really out of the blue when I was having hard time trying to do something in this life, at the time I was feeling completely lost and lonely – some of you may understand what I am talking about – and thanks to you, I have gained so much motivations through what I have been writing about the postcards you have sent me, as much as I have gained love and friendship with some of you at the times I needed some so badly, just to know there’s someone out there and now I feel much better again. And apparently this postcard blog, is one of the medium of my strength for the past half year, I am glad I got to know you here and from Postcrossing. Maybe people see this as just about postcards, or about blogging postcards. But for me, it means much more than that. It has brought back my happiness and smile!

As I already wrote in the last PFF post, I’ll be moving in order to continue studying, in fact, tomorrow! Since I’m planning to be a good student this time, and I can’t bring my postcards box to the uni, it’s sad to annouce that I’m having a break from this postcards blogging.. probably for a long time, I dont know. Though I really hope I can be back to here one day, sooner or later. I know I’ll be missing my postcards and your visits to here! :)

I won’t have my message long, just to let you know that your every visit to this blog and comments have made me feel as if I have had many friends visiting me everyday and I can’t be any happier! :D Thanks so much for your time, I just hope you won’t forget me in future!! BIG HUGS AND SEE YOU AGAIN!

I gasped in excitement to see this page again after ages…… it’s still there!! :D LOL, of course, as I didn’t really delete the files in the Geocities, only Flickr links that I used to create the postcards gallery are broken now that I’ve deleted my previous Flickr account (I had two back then, one for postcards and another for other photos, then I kept the later, upgraded it to Pro, and load postcards into there as well). 

Now it looks to me so much work I was doing to keep this website, in solution of keeping an alternative gallery because I couldn’t afford a Pro Flickr that time.. :) LOL I am so proud of myself. And what I loved about my self-designed postcards website, it was actually a combination of a gallery (like Flickr) and a blog, in one place, which I couldn’t get if I only used either Flickr or a blog. Everytime I updated the site and put new cards, on the front page I got to write a note and news, and put “featured cards”, newly received cards, and even I made a chart of Top 5 my postcards senders (current &all time)!!! And I got to mark “new” at the country list whenever there’s a new addition of postcards from that country. And my updated Postcrossing sent/received map as well. HAHAHA now how much work does it sound?? But I was a total Postcrossing craze, sigh I won’t blame you if you think I am crazy :P My parents say that all the time anyway……

And OH!! I was so touched and excited that I can still access to its Geocities Guestbook, where my lovely postcards friends had left lovely messages…be free to read them and check if one of them was you, then it means you’re my old buddy. My, I had many so fans of my website back then… T____T

p.s. I am lazy to make an update with postcards these days. Ah but tomorrow’s weekend!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY! Sorry but I am so much in a good mood right now ;) :):):)

There used to be a legendary thread somewhere in the forum where we did underwear group swaps, round after round and it was helluva fun (shopping, sending, receiving, putting pictures, wearing :P). Believe me I have had more than a dozen from the continous swaps (and some even have been missing (ugh), perhaps in the hostel time). I used to organize a round or two haha in fact I can’t remember myself organizing other round robins or swaps other than underwear :P not even postcards :P:P. Time passed by, the thread was finally deleted upon inactivity hence the disappearance of all the panty buddies I loved. It was like the end of my world!! :( I missed the fun now, so I decided to start again the swap. Hell yeah it’s here in case you have overlooked. But the deadline is over already, please come back next time if you feel like joining :P and am now busy arranging the panty partner for everyone!

The reason I want to blog about this (yes you must be wondering why am I being nuts over underwear in a sudden) was because I stumbled upon some illustrations I used to post in that underwear thread long time ago. Right here in the Flickr. Hehe there could be many old pictures you already have forgotten about.

I just have to show this to everyone!!! :D We used to officially be in the Pantyland Kingdom already, how cool is that? The official panties I was talking about might have been looking like this:

which in fact Yakityak seemed to get busy and forgot to make a pair of underwear for me. Yep, she made underwear with neat fabrics. And this was my own draft how I wanted my official custom-made panties to look like. Oh the print here says 100K cards received :) and now we’re reaching 2 million very soon. Sigh, time surely is running too fast.

Ana? If you read this, can you consider underwear as a new Postcrossing merchandise? lol. I have wanted to suggest this since ages but I don’t feel like doing it in public as people may have a wrong idea about me… *blush* Please? Pretty please?

I don’t know how many of them are exactly. But according to my Flickr the number is 1358. And after May 2008 I didn’t get to scan and upload my postcards anymore. And below are some of the postcards received afterwards, which I think are around 200 or so. I still can’t put them together before I don’t get them scanned and uploaded. Yes I do my tracking this way so even if I don’t have time and scanner now I just have to wait until I do. 

This is on my bed last night when I was browsing them again. Okay so I sleep with my postcards, but who cares? :P

I remember the last batch I uploaded in Flickr were shot using camera, seeing how desperately I needed to upload my postcards no matter what it takes, lol. But the result wasn’t too nice, as perhaps the camera didn’t stay perfectly perpendicular to the postcard surface, making the image angle distorted somehow. So postcardspicturewise, I still prefer a scanner to a digital camera. Anyways. Now I am waiting to have a new scanner so I can start uploading cards again!
