Praha – Prague

This is my quick update on the blog before my mood for it dies completely. I contantly wish for a peace of mind and good mood to blog about my beloved postcards, which lately I can’t seem to find any. Well, Czech Republic is one of the countries in the world which has the prettiest capital city, needless to say Prague is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.

From Martinas. The view of Vltava river with Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathederal in sight. And pretty birds in sight :)

From Stanislav. This is an amazing view of the Old Town Square in Prague, and the highest gothic building should be the Church of Our Lady before Týn. The church  with the impressive two spires was founded in 1385.

From Adeleide. This view is so much the place I’m dying to be in!! It’s the BEAUTIFULLEST sight from the Vltava river with the castles and all like in the first postcard, but here we can see the Charles Bridge, and what makes this picture in this amazing atmosphere must be because it’s taken during a winter night. With a little lights, oh I really really wish to be in this place at this particular season and particular time!

From Stanislav, another breathtaking view of the Old Town Square in Prague. I just can’t help wondering, how can a beautiful place like this be empty??

Chrudim

Believe me. I can really tell this was the first postcard I received from Czech Republic without having to check again the real card and date and all from the box! Yeah in a second thought, first cards must be very special. I can say I probably remember by heart which card I first received from this or that country, along with their senders! So this historical Chrudim town night view came from Martinas. The church on the top of the card is called Mary Virgin built in the 13th century.
