Toronto’s Harbourfront, Rogers Centre, the CN Tower and downtown Toronto. It looks like a modern and organized city, I just love how the land makes its edge to calm lake water.

This beautiful castle is the Casa Loma (Castle on the Hill) with 98 rooms, secret passages, tunnels and towers. It was built in 1923 and is among very few old buildings remain in Canada.

This view is rather a vertical version of the first card, showing Toronto’s Harbourfront, except it’s zoomed to focus the CN Tower. It’s a communications and observation tower standing 553 m tall and was constructed in the 1970s.

These 7-meters tall skinny human statutes were created by Mario Armengol for the British Pavillion Expo ’67 in Montreal as a gift to Calgary… and the statutes were created to be raceless and expressionless to symbolize gestures and goodwil in friendship.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia is a Canadian province located in the southeastern coast of Canada. And to be honest I never heard about Nova Scotia until I received postcards from there.

The Sullivan’s Pond, which is located near Lake Banook, is a perfect area for a walk or to feed ducks, or just to relax. I mean, there are really ducks swimming in the pond!! :D In Dartmouth there are 22 lakes hence the nickname City of Lakes.

Oh I just fell in love with illustrated map cards like this :) So at first glance you might guess Nova Scotia as an island, no? Well, I did. But it’s actually a peninsula. On this card it says Nova Scotia as “Canada’s ocean playground” :)
