Apart of the Malaysian postcards sent by my fellow Malaysian Postcrossers in tags, I think I would also love to share with you some rare old postcards which I guess were published in the 1970s and 80s. I mean, I go to a shop where they sell some old postcards.. I can find many bulks of postcards with different pictures.. and suddenly I spot one card which is unique of its picture, I mean, there’s only ONE card there with that very picture.. I can’t find any other.. and of course it’s yellowed and old.. but to me this vintage card is a treasure!!! :D
So my first treasure here is a view in some fisherman village here in the East Coast. I am not sure if in other countries they do fish drying, but here dried salted fish seem to be crucial, as they can be kept for a very long time! Plus, they are always ready to fast-serve by either fry or grill.

Jun 5th, 2009I’m glad you mentioned this today. I thought I saw all of the fish cards before, but I must have missed this one. It is very interesting.
I will have a new Postcard Scavenger Hunt soon, probably tonight. Subject is “handicrafts.” I won’t be using Mr. Linky this month, just put a link in the comments if you participate.
