Eritrea

There were two boys in my Multimedia class in the first year I remember very well when they said they came from Eritrea. Because before that I still had not had any idea there was actually a country in this world called Eritrea :P If you happen to fall into the group who don’t know Eritrea, here I am helping you: it’s  is a country in Northeast Africa, bordered by Sudan, Ethiopia and Djibouti, and Eritrean people mainly speak Tigrinya language and Arabic. At least when I came to Postcrossing I already knew Eritrea so when Asif told me he was going to send me Eritrea card when he was there for a meeting I was so excited coz it was (and still is) hard to get one from Africa, though it turned out he couldn’t send it from there, but instead from UAE when he returned.

This is the Asmara City, the capital of Eritrea. It’s nice to see those trees (which I am not sure of what type) along the road. The tower belongs to St. Joseph Catholic cathedral.
